About StockSentry

StockSentry is a free stock prediction game. Every trading day, players call whether a stock will close up or down by the next market close. Correct calls earn points, wrong calls cost them, and the leaderboard settles who really has a feel for the market.

There's no real money involved — no trading, no deposits, no payouts. Just predictions, points, streaks, badges, and bragging rights.

How scoring works

• ✅ Correct call: +10 points (+5 if you used your free change)
• ❌ Wrong call: −5 points (your balance never drops below zero)
• 🔥 Streak bonuses at 3, 5, 10 and 20 wins in a row
• 🃏 Beat a confident AI signal: +5 bonus
• 📅 Daily visit: +2 points
• 🏅 12 badges with point bonuses attached

The AI signal

Each stock carries a signal built from simple technical analysis — 20/50-day moving averages, RSI momentum, volatility — blended with news sentiment. It's an educational reference point, not advice. Some of the best players win by disagreeing with it.

Data

Market data comes from free public sources and may be delayed. Predictions resolve against the official session close shortly after each market closes (4:30pm London, 4pm New York).
